Review of: Beneath a blanket of snow by Arlene Lomazoff-Marron

Updated: Sep 9, 2020

Don't let the unimaginative cover fool you; this is a great book!

When I saw this book for the first time, I almost scrolled past it as the cover did nothing to draw my attention. However, the title made me take a look at the synopsis, and I decided to give the book a chance.

The writer did a fantastic job telling the story, although, at times, unnecessary elaboration slowed the pace of the novel.

The characters were well rounded and easily relatable, which made up for the occasional lull.

The author has a gift for storytelling, and I am glad that I took the time to read this book!
